Manually overriding a result

This article describes how you can manually override a Credas result should you wish too. If you are looking for help on understanding results, please refer to the result guide you wish to review here instead. 

The ability to update a status/override a status is dependent on your permissions. If you do not have the ability to override a result, please speak to your admin user or manager as permissions are handled internally by your own organisation.

This walk-through uses the example of a referred Address & Mortality, however the same steps can be followed for any of the below checks:

• Address & Mortality;
• Liveness;
• PEPs & Sanctions;
• Bank account;
• Identity Verification (unless the Identity Document has failed because of valid document type, police record, comprise alert or repeat attempts - for these you are unable to override the result and will need to resubmit the check).

If you are looking to override a check that is not mentioned above, you are unable to override this result (unless the result is pending validation as below), and we recommend either reading the results guide for that specific check here, or referring to your organisations own internal policies. 

Updating 'pending validation'

If your check appears as 'pending validation', as can be seen by the supporting document box below, you will always need to manually review these yourself. To do this click 'review' and you will then be able to update the result to a 'pass' or 'fail'. Similar to overriding a result, you will always be asked to provide a comment.
