Running a Proof of Ownership/Land Registry Check

Proof of Ownership


When running a Proof of Ownership check on an individual, you will have the three below options to choose from:

  1. Proof of Ownership check
  2. Title Register
  3. Title Plan


Where to find the Proof of Ownership Check


If you have already created the individuals profile, you will be able to see the Proof of Ownership data check as an option under 'Available Checks', this can be seen in the below picture.







Alternatively if you are setting up a new individual, you can a Proof of Ownership check from the invite wizard by clicking the below.







Running the Proof of Ownership Check


1. Click on the Proof of Ownership tile either through the invite wizard or available checks on an individuals profile as shown above.

2. Enter in the address via postcode look up, or alternatively you can enter the address manually

3. You can then choose which options you would like to run:

  • Proof of Ownership
  • Title Register
  • Title Plan

4. Click 'Run Check'




5. You will now be able to see the results of the check. For more information on the results you may see, please click here.



Running Multiple Proof of Ownership Checks


If the individual has multiple addresses you would like to run Proof of Ownership checks for, you can run a new check by going into the 'Settings' tab and then clicking 'Run a new check'.


Any previous checks still be accessible in the 'Archive' tab.
