Sending a new invitation
To send a new invitation to a customer, you must first create a profile for them. To do this, click on the ‘Add new’ button located to the top right of the screen. The invitation wizard will open where you will need to complete the following steps.
1. The ‘Quick key request’ wizard will open, allowing you to create an ‘Individual’ based on the following use cases:
- Send new invite to an individual (creates an ‘Individual’ and sends them an invite to a journey).
- Create and go to profile (Creates an ‘Individual’ only. More information on this option can be found here).
- Create and ask to sign a document (Creates an ‘Individual’ and issues a document for them to sign).
There are also further options to choose from, such as creating an ‘Individual’ and issuing a ‘Stand-alone’ check. Please note – the options available may be limited depending on your portal setup. More information on this option can be found here
Once you are happy with your selection, click on ‘Confirm details’ to continue.
2. Next, you will be required to enter the ‘Individual’s’ personal information. You will be required to enter their ‘First name’ and ‘Last name’, but the ‘Date of birth’ and ‘Your reference’ fields are optional. Once the name has been applied, select ‘Confirm details’, located at the bottom of the screen.
3. Next, you will be required to enter the applicant’s contact information. You can also add your clients address using the lookup postcode function. To continue, click Create profile where another screen will appear.
4. You will now be asked to choose a journey to send to your client. Journey choices will differ depending on how your portal has been set up.
5. You will now be presented with a summary page, before choosing how you wish to send the invite to the client.
Please note – either or both the Email address and Mobile number need to be input based on your selection.

6. The invite has now been sent to your client to complete their check!
