Portal Branding
This article details the areas of branding within Credas that can be personalised with your company's branding. The article also details any branding guidelines and restrictions. At the end of the article, you will be presented with a branding form for you to fill your branding requests and attach any images, such as your logo.
You do not have to customise all the areas of branding outlined in the article, you can keep areas as our standard defaults if you wish.
Our team will action your branding request within three working days, or our team will reach out you if more information is needed.
We offer the ability to apply bespoke branding to the following areas:
1. The Credas Portal
2. Our App (what your client will see)
3. SMS Invitations
4. Email Invitations
5. PDFs
Guidelines
1. Branding your Credas Portal
Within your Credas Portal, we are able to brand the following areas:
- Adding your logo to the portal.
- Adding your brand's colours.
- Adding your brand's colours and logos to any PDF's that are exported from the portal.
Logo
Your logo will appear in the header of your portal, as can be seen below. Please provide your logo as a PNG or JPEG image and make sure the image resolution and quality is as large as possible, as the image may be resized to fit into the header.
This logo will also appear on any PDF's you download from the portal.
Portal Colours
We are able to include your branding colours throughout the portal in different areas. Please send your colours through in Hex Code Format for us to apply to your portals via the branding form at the end of this guide.
You have five areas where you can specify the colours which are outlined below.
1. Header Background - Your header colour will apply only to the header area highlighted in the image below. When deciding your header colour, please bare in mind your logo will appear on this header.
2. Header Text - Your main header text colour will apply to the below highlighted areas. Please keep in mind the colour of your header when picking this colour.
3. Secondary Colour - Your secondary (accent) colour will apply to accent areas of your portal, including the below highlighted areas. Please keep in mind the colour of your header when picking this colour.
4. Primary Colour - Your primary colour will relate to a few areas in the portal, including scroll bars and buttons such as the 'Add New' button highlighted below.
5. Primary Text - Your primary text colour will relate to the text colour in any buttons such as the 'Add new' text highlighted below.
PDF's
You can also specify colours for the PDF header's and footer, as well as any PDF header text. The logo on the PDF will automatically apply from the logo on your portal.
2. Branding the Credas App
Logo
The below image is what your clients will see as a default when completing their checks on the Credas App. Your logo can appear to your clients within the app instead of the Credas logo.
Please provide your logo as a PNG or JPEG image and make sure the image resolution and quality is as large as possible, as the image may be resized to fit into the header. Please note - as the background is white, this logo will need to be darker in order to stand out.
Background Image (welcome page image)
The default background image that your clients will see can be seen in the image above, it is currently Credas' standard globe image. You can alter this background image to an image of your choosing. Please provide this image as a PNG or JPEG.
Welcome Page Title
The default page title will say 'Identity Verification Made Simple', you can add your own title to the welcome page instead. We recommend keeping the title to 5 words or less, as with more text there is a likelihood of the header being split into two lines.
Welcome Page Text
The default text for this page can be seen in the image above. This text can be personalised by yourselves and gives you the opportunity to add a company description or advice on the check for your client. We recommend keeping this text to the character limit of 450 or less.
Button Colour
You are able to specify the colour of the 'Let's get started' button as can be seen in the image above.
3. Branding SMS Invitations
The standard SMS template your clients will recieve when inviting them to a journey is below:
[[client-name]] need you to complete a check with Credas. Enter code [[reg-code]] at [[url]]
You are able to alter this or create your own SMS template to send out. When creating an SMS template, it is important to note there is a standard character limit (including spaces) of 160 characters per text message. You will need to include the Registration Code and URL within this text.
Please note - The URL link will increase the number of characters used within a text.
The Available tags you can use in the text is as below:
Client Name | Shows the client’s company name. |
First Name | Shows customer’s first name. |
Registration Code | Shows the customer’s registration code. |
URL | Populates the access URL for the customer to use. |
4. Branding Email Invitations
The standard email template your clients will receive when inviting them to a journey is below:
You can request for your logo to appear in the header of the email, as can be seen above. Please provide your logo as a PNG or JPEG image and make sure the image resolution and quality is as large as possible, as the image may be resized to fit into the header.
As well as being able to add your own logo, you are able to also alter the header colour and the 'Register now' button.
If you would like to alter the template wording, there is no character limit however for the best user experience, we recommend only including the necessary information. We suggest you including the following in the email:
- Your companys name
- Your customers full name
- The reg-code
