Expiring Invites
For uncompleted checks, you have the ability to set up an expiry rule that means individuals will not be able to access or complete their Credas check after a certain period of time you configure.
Once the check has become expired, the individual will not be able to complete the check and you would have to issue the individual a new journey to complete if you still needed them to complete a check (see steps here). You will be able to see if an invite has become expired within the invite status column on your individuals table as can be seen below which you can filter by.
You can set up expiry rules to apply automatically portal wide, or you can expire invitations on an adhoc basis.
Expiring Invites on an Adhoc Basis
If you wish to expire uncompleted invites on an adhoc basis, you will need to select the 'actions button' relating to the individual you wish to expire.
Select the 'Expire invite' option (this will only appear when you have issued a journey to the individual, and its not been completed).
The invitation will then be expired, and the individual will be unable to complete the check.
Automatic Expiry Rules
To set up automatic expiry rules, you will need to access your settings tab by clicking the 'Settings' button found within your header. Please note this tab is permission based, if you do not have the ability to see your portals setting, please reach out to your admin user.
Within your settings tab, you will see the below options appear - you will need to select 'Invite Rules'.
You will then need to set up your expiry rules under the 'Expire invites' section below. Please note - the expiry rules will apply to all invitations sent from the portal, until switched off.
