Settings
This article discusses your customisable settings that can be found in your portal settings tab. To access your settings tab, click the 'Settings' button found within your header. Please note this tab is permission based, if you do not have the ability to see your portals setting, please reach out to your admin user.
Within your settings tab, you will see the below options appear.
Branding
One option available in your portal settings, is 'Branding'. This setting allows you to update the logo. This logo must be under 5MB and will only change the logo you see within your portal.
If you wish to edit your branding and add your logo into the Credas App for individuals completing the Credas check to view, or add your logo into your email invitations - you will need to fill in our branding request form that can be accessed here.
Invite Rules
Within 'Invite Rules', you are able to alter two aspects: expiry rules and invite reminders.
Expiry Rules
For uncompleted checks, you have the ability to set up an expiry rule that means individuals will not be able to access or complete their Credas check after a certain period of time configured, for example six months after the invitation was first issued.
Once the check has become expired, the individual will not be able to complete the check and you would have to issue the individual a new journey to complete if you still needed them to complete a check. You will be able to see if an invite has become expired within the invite status column on your individuals table as can be seen below.
You are also able to manually expire uncompleted checks on an adhoc basis if you wish, by following the steps here.
Invite Reminders
You have the ability to set up to three automatic invite reminders (for both SMS & emails) so individuals who have not completed their Credas checks will receive reminders to do so.
If you wish to edit the days the reminders are issued, simply just add/edit the days found in the below fields. You can have up to three reminders. You can also alter your reminders to just SMS or just email by unticking/ticking the relevant fields.
Above this field is a setting called 'Invite rule', if you wish for your changes to apply to all checks moving forward, and checks already sent, you will need to tick this.
Once you have edited your settings, don't forget to click 'Save changes'!
Ongoing Monitoring
You are able to manage your portals Ongoing Monitoring settings from within the 'Ongoing Monitoring' tab in the settings tab. From here, you can turn Ongoing Monitoring on/off and adjust the time length you wish for it to be set up for. The settings applied here will apply portal-wide for any journeys issued (that include PEPs & Sanctions) after the settings were saved. You can set the Ongoing Monitoring to any time length you wish, such as six months or a year. You can also set it up to apply indefinitely, as can be seen below, until you manually turn it off for the individual check in question.
We recommend if you have Ongoing Monitoring set up, to turn on Ongoing Monitoring email notifications, you can read more about this and Ongoing Monitoring here.
Deletion Rules
If you wish to alter the data retention settings on your portal, you can also find this in your portal. You can set up different data settings for individuals that have completed their checks, and for checks that have been inactive for a period of time, such as an individual not completing their journey. If no data retention settings are applied, the retention will default to Credas' policy. You can read our privacy policy here.
All settings within the 'Deletion Rules' tab will delete the individual and their data from the period set, data will not be archived. This means you will not be able to retrieve the data once deleted.
